Havre Police Department

A Nineth Street caller reported Tuesday at 12:29 p.m. that a residential building had been broken into.

A remote breathalyzer violation was reported at the police station Tuesday at 2:26 p.m.

A motor vehicle crash was reported on Second Street West Tuesday at 10:51 p.m.

Kyle Lee Lamere of Box Elder, 30, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of dangerous drugs and on a Justice or City court warrant served on Ninth Avenue at 11:55 pm. Tuesday.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Sheriff's office dispatch log reports no investigations, arrests or summonses for the 24-hour reporting period.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to six calls Tuesday.

Firefighters responded Tuesday to two good intent calls, one for a report of a gas smell at 11:04 a.m. on the 4000 Block of U.S. Highway 2 West, but no leak was found and the scene was turned over to NorthWestern Energy, and the other for a report of an arcing power line on the 600 Block of Second Street West at 1:34 p.m., but no sign of arcing could be detected.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one cat and two 6-week-old kittens all of unknown gender, four female cats, two male 7-month-old kittens, four male cats, one female and two male 9-week-old kittens, one male 21-week-old kitten and one male 6-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held one male and one female mixed-breed 17-week-old puppies, a female 21-week-old mixed-breed puppy, one female mixed-breed dog, a male mixed-breed dog, a male border collie dog, a female 26-week-old mixed-breed puppy and a female pit bull terrier dog.

Births

A girl was born Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2020, to Tasia Hawley and Keith Smith of Chinook.
