Havre Police Department

Someone stopped at the police station Friday at 9:50 a.m. to reported a kid's bike was stolen.

Kobe Allen Scott Miller or Havre, 20, was arrested on a state District Court warrant and a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant after a caller at Fourth Street and 14th Avenue reported a PT Cruiser was sideways in the street Friday at 11:34 a.m.

--

Someone stopped at the police station to report Friday at 12:30 p.m. that a bike had been stolen.

Christian Stevens Azure of havre, 18, and Savana Hope Kannberg of Havre, 20, were each issued a summons on a charge of minor in possession after Kannberg called police at 9:29 p.m. asking for help removing a man from her residence on 14th Avenue.

A motorcycle crash with an injury on 13th Street was reported Saturday at 6:16 p.m.

--

A theft was reported Sunday at 11:09 a.m. at a First Street West establishment.

--

A Boulevard Avenue caller reported a stolen white and black bicycle Sunday at 3:12 p.m.

Curtis Wayne Stanley of Havre, 55, was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license during a vehicle stop on Second Avenue at 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

Jeremie Daniel Brandon of Havre, 43, was arrested on Seventh Avenue at 11:51 p.m. Sunday on two Justice or City court warrants and a charge of possession of dangerous drugs.

Rodney Dwayne Hoerner of Columbia Falls, 52, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, careless driving and other traffic crime during a vehicle stop on Fifth Avenue at 12:28 a.m. Monday.

--

Jaden Tristen Peet of Kremlin, 20, was arrested on charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, MIP and probation violation after an officer initiated investigation of suspicious activity at a First Street West establishment Monday at 9:39 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

William James Denny of Rocky Boy, 35, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after a caller on 405 Road South reported a domestic disturbance Friday at 12:04 p.m.

Jacob Wade Russette of Box Elder, 20, was arrested on a state District Court warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Friday at 2 p.m.

--

Tyler Kim Theboy of Havre, 30, was arrested on charges of criminal mischief and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies were called Friday at 2:13 p.m. to assist another agency on Seventh Street North.

Penny Ann Mcatee of Havre, 49, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after a caller on Ninth Avenue North reported a domestic disturbance Friday at 7:58 p.m.

--

A caller at the hospital Saturday at 5:15 p.m. reported a sex offense in the county.

--

Donald James Novak of Havre, 54, was arrested on a charge of aggravated DUI after a caller reported someone needing assistance south of Havre on U.S. Highway 87 Saturday at 9:36 p.m.

--

Jacob Logan James Folk of Havre, 31, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and violation of conditions of release after a disturbance was reported on U.S. Highway 2 East Sunday at 12:19 a.m.

--

A caller reported Sunday at 3:38 p.m. that a woman at a Box Elder establishment tried to stab a bartender.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Friday, two calls Saturday, four Sunday and three Monday.

--

Firefighters responded to a garbage bin fire on the 10 Block of Third Street Friday at 7:51 p.m., and put out the fire that was contained to the bin.

--

Firefighters were called to the 1500 Block of 11th Street at 8:03 p.m. to investigate a smell of smoke and possibly burning rubber. No evidence of smoke or fire could be found.

--

Sunday at 5:01 p.m., firefighters responding to a good intent call rescued a cat from a tree on the 900 Block of Third Avenue.

--

Firefighters were called to the 200 Block of Fifth Street Monday at 5:50 a.m. in response to a gas smell report. No odor could be detected and a NorthWestern Energy was responding for a followup check.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held four cats, two 5-week-old kittens, four 8-week-old kittens and a 26-week-old kitten all of unknown gender, two female cats, two male 7-month-old kittens, three male cats and one male 20-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held three male and two female mixed-breed 15-week-old puppies, two female mixed-breed dogs, a female 20-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a male Akita dog and a male 12-week-old mixed-breed puppy.

Births

A boy was born Friday, Sept. 4, 2020, to Leah Vannett and David Cross of Havre.
