Someone stopped at the police station Thursday at 5:04 p.m. to ask officers for assistance.

A caller at a First Street establishment reported a man harassing people at 12:30 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Richard Joel Meyers of Box Elder, 31, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after someone at a Box Elder establishment reported suspicious activity Thursday at 8:43 a.m.

Siddora Danae Johnson of Havre, 18, was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a theft at 3:12 p.m. Thursday.

An arrest was made after a theft was reported Thursday at 7:59 p.m. at a U.S. Highway 2 West business, but details were not available in the dispatch log. Lynn Parisian, who was named as an involved person, was listed in this morning's jail log as being held on charges of possession of dangerous drugs, theft and criminal trespass.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Thursday.

Firefighters responded to a smoke alarm on the 1200 Block of Second Street at 9:50 a.m. Thursday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two 5-week-old kittens, four 8-week-old kittens and two cats all of unknown gender, two female cats, two male 7-month-old kittens, two male cats and one male 20-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held three male and two female mixed-breed 15-week-old puppies, two female mixed-breed dogs, a female 19-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a male Akita dog, two male 11-week-old mixed-breed dogs and a female 18-week-old mixed-breed puppy.
