Arthur Ryan Windyboy Sr. was sentenced in state District Court in Havre to three years probation on a felony criminal drug charge.
Windyboy was charged May 20, 2019, after an officer stopping Windyboy due to an outstanding Justice Court warrant found syringes and methamphetamine on him.
He was charged Dec. 2 with felony criminal possession of dangerous drugs and a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Windyboy pleaded guilty June 29 to the felony charge under a plea agreement.
Monday, District Judge Kaydee Snipes Ruiz imposed a three-year deferred imposition of sentence, ordered Windyboy to pay $130 in fees and surcharges and dismissed the misdemeanor count.
If Windyboy abides by all conditions of his release during the three-year probationary period, he may petition to have the felony charge struck from his record.
