Havre Police Department

A two-vehicle crash was reported on First Street West Wednesday at 12:11 p.m.

Richard Scott Jarvis of Havre, 41, was issued a summons on a speeding charge during a vehicle stop on 17th Street at 3:46 p.m. Wednesday.

--

Shaila Twila Mudge of Havre, 32, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after she asked at 3:07 a.m. today for an officer to stop by a 17th Street residence.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Alfred James Chandler of Havre, 61, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served on Second Street West at 9:46 a.m. Wednesday.

Deputies investigated a theft, forgery or fraud reported Wednesday at 4:35 p.m. at Box Elder School.

Deputies were called at 10:50 p.m. Wednesday to investigated a complaint on Fifth Street North.

Jeremy Clement Larsen of Havre, 42, was arrested on charges of possession of dangerous drugs, two counts; possession of drug paraphernalia, and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant Wednesday 11:12 p.m..

Havre Fire Department

Firefighters responded to a carbon monoxide alarm on the 1000 Block of Sixth Street at 7:50 p.m. Wednesday. No carbon monoxide was detected, but a gas leak was found and the NorthWestern Energy crew called to the scene fixed the problem.

Firefighters called to the 800 Block of Fifth Avenue for a fire alarm at 10:14 p.m. Wednesday found that the alarm was triggered by smoke from burned food. The crew checked and cleared the scene.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held four 7-week-old kittens of unknown gender, two female cats, two male 6-month-old kittens, two male cats, one male 19-week-old kitten and one male 7-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held three male and two female mixed-breed 14-week-old puppies, a male border collie-Australian cattle dog-blue heeler cross, two female mixed-breed dogs, a female 18-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a male Akita dog, two male 10-week-old mixed-breed dogs, a 13-week-old male mixed-breed dog and a female 16-week-old mixed-breed puppy.
