Havre Police Department

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported at 9:46 a.m. Friday in the Smithville area.

Travis Lee Price of Havre, 38, was issued a summons on a theft charge after a SCRAM alcohol monitor bracelet was reported stolen in the Havre area Friday at 12:30 p.m.

A Third Avenue caller reported Friday at 5:16 p.m. that a handicap license plate was taken off the front of a truck.

--

A 17-year-old was issued a summons on a charge of under age tobacco possession or consumption after a caller on 14th Avenue asked Friday at 10:38 p.m. to speak with an officer.

Ashlynne Brandon of Havre, 19, was issued a summons on charges of minor in possession and social host violation; Nick Lee Molitor of Havre, 18, Tyrel Kjersem of Havre, 18, and Triston Alan Labatte of Havre, 19, were each issued a summons on an MIP charge, and Kyle McMaster of Havre, 21, was issued a summons on a charge of unlawful transactions with children after a caller reported a possible party in a Third Street backyard Friday at 11:28 p.m.

Zakary Kenneth Canning of Havre, 25, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and open container in the city, after a Washington Avenue caller reported Saturday at 5:32 a.m. that a Suburban had been running outside for an hour.

Officers made an arrest on a warrant on Washington Avenue at 10:17 a.m. Saturday, but no charges were provided in the dispatch log. Andrew John Frickel, who was named as an involved party in the log, has been listed in the jail roster since Saturday as being held on a charge of failure to appear.

Everett Dale Windyboy of Havre, 67, was arrested on a charge of trespass to property after a Third Avenue West caller asked for officers Saturday at 4:23 p.m. to remove someone who appeared to be sleeping in the caller's shed.

Two intoxicated men were given verbal or written warnings after calling the police department Sunday at 12:15 a.m. from a First Street establishment to say "hi."

A 14-year-old was issued a summons on a juvenile curfew violations charge after a caller on Second Street reported at 3:29 a.m. Sunday that the caller's daughter had run away.

--

An arrest was made after a caller at a First Street West business reported Sunday at 10:56 a.m. that an intoxicated man had been harassing staff and left, headed east. No details on the charges were provided in the dispatch log, but David Taylor Eagleman, who was named as an involved party, was listed in this morning's jail roster as being held on charges of disorderly conduct and trespassing.

Ariel Micheala Sunchild of Box Elder, 29, was arrested on a charge of trespass to property, after a caller on 14th Avenue asked Sunday at 1:56 p.m. for officers to remove two intoxicated women from the caller's home.

A 14-year-old was issued a summons on a juvenile curfew violations charge after a First Street caller reported the violation at 12:06 a.m. today.

--

A 16-year-old was issued a summons on charges of MIP and juvenile curfew violations after a caller on First Street reported a man yelling at 1:16 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Cheryl Lynn Albert of Havre, 49, was arrested on a City Court warrant and a Justice or City court warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Friday at 3:10 p.m.

A caller in Beaver Creek Park asked officers Friday at 7:43 p.m. to speak with a man at the hospital about a dog bite.

A caller at Hill County Detention Center reported an assault at 8:10 p.m. Friday.

--

Claudia Pandora Bell of Hays, 22, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served at the detention center Friday at 11:01 p.m.

--

Colen Shane of Box Elder, 23, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants after a 12:14 p.m. Saturday transport from Rocky Boy Agency to the detention center.

Deputies assisted Havre police on a call at Second Street Saturday at 11:20 p.m.

Deputies investigated suspicious activity on First Street Sunday at 12:31 a.m.

Deputies investigate a complaint from an Eighth Street caller Sunday at 11:50 a.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls in the Friday reporting period, three calls Saturday, and three calls Sunday, and one this morning.

Firefighters responded to the 10 Block of 13th Street West at 9:14 a.m. Friday, and found that the alarm at the location was malfunctioning.

--

After a large bird flew into electrical lines and caused a short at a power pole on the 200 Block of Fifth Street at 7:17 p.m. Friday, firefighters stood by at the scene for two hours until NorthWestern Energy crews could respond.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held four 6-week-old kittens of unknown gender, two female cats, two male 6-month-old kittens, two male cats, one male 6-month-old kitten and one male 18-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held three male and two female mixed-breed 13-week-old puppies, a male border collie-Australian cattle dog-blue heeler cross, two female 16-week-old mixed-breed puppies, a female 18-week-old mixed breed puppy and a male Akita dog.

Births

A girl was born Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2020, to Amanda and Jacob Kunz of Havre.
