Havre Police Department

Curtis Cole Molina of Havre, 23, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a caller on 10th Street West made a complaint to Havre Police Thursday at 11:04 a.m.

A caller at a Second Street business reported a fake $100 bill at 4:03 p.m. Thursday.

Donald Charles Salonen of Chinook, 58, was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and resisting arrest during a vehicle stop at 2:47 p.m. Thursday on First Street.

Officer investigated a Thursday 3:10 p.m. report of a sexual or violent offender registration violation in Havre.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

The sheriff's office dispatch log reported no arrests, summons issued or investigations during the 24-hour reporting period.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Thursday.

Firefighters responded to a gas leak reported on the 400 Block of Second Avenue at 11:56 a.m. Thursday. The crew detected a slight odor and called a NorthWestern Energy crew which found a small leak at the pilot light of an appliance. The gas to the appliance was shut off until it could be repaired or replaced.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held four 6-week-old kittens of unknown gender, two female cats, four male cats, two male 6-month-old kittens, one female 12-week-old kitten and one male 18-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held three male and two female mixed-breed 13-week-old puppies, a male border collie-Australian cattle dog-blue heeler cross, three female 16-week-old mixed-breed puppies, a female 17-week-old mixed breed puppy, a male Akita dog and a male mixed-breed dog.
