Rocky Boy Schools, which are set to start with all-remote learning classes Wednesday, Aug. 26, will be distributing Thursday, Friday, Monday and Tuesday electronic devices to make the remote learning classes accessible by students.
Rocky Boy Elementary will be distributing devices Thursday and Friday. Parents and guardians for students in grades K-3 can pick up devices from 9 a.m. to noon both days, and for grades four through six from noon to 3 p.m.
Rocky Boy High School will be distributing devices Monday and next Tuesday with grades seven through nine picking up 9 a.m. to noon and grades 10 through 12 from noon to 3 p.m.
Teachers, a release from the school said, will be teaching live lessons with Microsoft Teams and, as much as possible, will be following a normal day-to-day schedule. In October, if officials deem it safe, classes will change to a hybrid blend of online and in-class learning, the release said.
