Northern Montana Health Care posted on its Facebook page Thursday that Northern Montana Family Medical Center would close for the rest of the day due to a positive confirmation of a COVID-19 case.
Vice President of Regulatory and Community Services Christen Obresley said Thursday afternoon that the closure was to do their due diligence and conducting a deep clean of the building, which she said, was going well with no complications.
She said the Hill County Health Department is doing contact tracing on the positive case, and she expected the center would open with normal hours today.
But Northern Montana Hospital said this morning that the Medical Center is still closed, but could not provide a reason for the continued closure.
The Facebook post said the center will contact people who had appointments to reschedule.
