Two Northstars earn postseason accolades

It was a great season for the Havre Northstars American Legion baseball team, and though it ended at last weekend's Class A state tournament in Lewistown, a pair of Northstars were honored this week.

Both Havre seniors Quinn Reno and Tyrel Kjersem were named Northern District All-Conference for the 2020 season. Reno was honored as a shortstop, while Kjersem was named to the squad as a utility player.

Reno also earned Class A All-State honors for the Northstars, who reached the state tournament for the first time since 2005, after finishing second at the Northern A District Tournament last month in Great Falls.
