Hill County Clerk and Recorder’s Officer reports it has received numerous phone calls regarding election mailers from third-party groups.

It is legal for groups to send voter registration and absentee ballot application requests to voters, a release from the office said. People who receive one of these mailers and want to send it to the clerk and recorder’s office need to make sure it is addressed to be sent directly to the Hill County Clerk and Recorder’s Office, 315 Fourth Street, Havre, MT 59501.

“We are highly encouraging voters to visit the My Voter Page website and verify they are registered to vote at their correct address,” representatives of the office said in a release. “You can check your registration and absentee voting status online at http://www.MyVoterPageMt.com, or by calling the Hill County Clerk and Recorder’s Office, 406-400-2321.”

People who need to register to vote or update their address can call the Hill County Clerk and Recorder’s Office to request a voter registration card or can appear in person at the office, the release said.
