Sheila Eve Walker was given three years probation after she previously pleaded no contest to vandalizing a Havre car wash.
Walker was charged Aug. 1, 2019, with felony criminal mischief after security videos recorded her vandalizing the business the night of July 19, 2019.
She pleaded no contest, which means the defendant admits they would likely be convicted by the evidence although they do not admit liability, under a plea agreement May 4.
In criminal courts, the no contest plea has the same affect as a guilty plea.
Last Monday in state District Court in Havre, district Judge Kaydee Snipes Ruiz imposed a three-year deferred imposition of sentence on Walker.
Under a deferred imposition of sentence, if the offender does not violate any conditions of release during the sentence, they may petition to have the charge struck from their record.
