Area athletes place at Big Sky Games

A local pair of track and field athletes did quite well at the Big Sky State Games last weekend in Billings. Kaydence Reiter, an eighth-grader from Havre got first place in the 200 meters, first place in the long jump, and third in the 100. Bris Reiter, a Havre freshman this fall also placed in the 100, 200 and long jump.

Ponies named to softball all-star tourney

Havre High standout Sydney Wilting has been named to the roster for the Veterans Memorial Softball Tournament, scheduled for Aug. 7-8 in Belgrade. The tournament is still a go as of now. HHS head coach Tony Vigliotti has also been named a coach of a team in the tournament.

In Monday's Havre Daily News sports section, in the story Lions roar to Minors championship, Kaden Larson was accidentally left off the roster listed for Bob's Greenhouse. The HDN sports department appreciates all comments and feedback.
