Russell Clifford Cooper of Havre, 50, was arrested on charges of criminal mischief vandalism and disorderly conduct after a caller at a Fourth Street facility reported a combative male in the building Wednesday at 8:22 a.m.

A 13-year-old was issued a summons on charges of juvenile curfew violation and minor in possession, Charles Glynn Plante of Havre, 42, was issued a summons on a charge of unlawful transactions with children, and a 14-year-old was issued a summons on a charge of MIP after someone stopped at the police station at 9:27 p.m. Monday to ask for assistance with a grandchild.
Hill County Sheriff's Office
Deputies made an arrest on a warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Wednesday at 3:39 p.m. No details on the charges were provided.

A caller at 12:48 this morning asked to speak with a deputy about someone involved in another case being on the caller's property.
Havre Fire Department
Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Wednesday.

Firefighters responded to a 3:55 p.m. fire call to the 1500 Block of Second Street, where they found a burning mattress in the alley near an unoccupied home. The crew put the fire out, and found no obvious indication of how the fire started.
Havre Animal Shelter
The shelter this morning held two cats, one 12-week-old kitten and one 15-week-old kitten all of unknown gender, one female and a male and a female 12-week-old kittens, a male and a female 13-week-old kittens, five female cats and one male cat.

The shelter also held a male husky-wire-haired pointing griffon dog, two female mixed-breed dogs, a female pit bull terrier-English bulldog and a male mixed-breed dog.
