Havre Police Department

A 10-year-old was issued a summons on a juvenile curfew violation charge after a caller on 10th Street reported at 8:27 a.m. Thursday that the child was missing.

Mara Jayne Corcoran of Havre, 29, was issued a summons on charges of disorderly conduct, violation of a no contact order, criminal mischief vandalism and trespass to property after a caller on 19th Street reported a woman was pounding on her door Thursday at 10:25 a.m.

Paul Gysler of BigFork, 38, was issued a summons on charges of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, resisting arrest, no vehicle insurance, speeding and expired registration during a vehicle stop on First Street at 5:05 p.m. Thursday.

Forrest Anthony Church of Great Falls, 36, was arrested on a shoplifting charge after a caller at a First Street West business reported at 5:33 p.m. Thursday that a man stole some beer.

Chad Earl Strampher a homeless man from Washington state, 49, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller on First Street reported a man was on the corner yelling at passing cars.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Darren Wayne Keith of Havre, 34, was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault and criminal destruction of or tampering with a communication device after an 11th Street North caller reported a disturbance Thursday at 12:57 p.m.

Alisha Marie Haugen of Big Sandy, 42, was arrested on a charge of aggravated driving under the influence after two callers on U.S. Highway 87 reported a possible drunk driver in a vehicle that was swerving all over the road Thursday at 11:04 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Thursday and one early this morning.

Firefighters responded with and ambulance and a fire truck to a fire alarm on the 10 Block of Third Street West at 1:12 p.m., but the alarm had been set off by steam from boiling water.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one 11-week-old and three 12-week-old kittens all of unknown gender, one female and one male 11-week-old kittens, five female cats and one male cat.

The shelter also held two female mixed-breed dogs, a female pit bull terrier-English bulldog and a male mixed-breed dog.
