Havre Police Department

Russell Clifford Cooper of Havre, 50, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia after a caller at a Fourth Street facility reported an aggressive man outside the building Tuesday at 10:36 a.m.

A hit and run vehicle crash was reported on First Street at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.

A Havre area caller reported Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. that a welder and generator were stolen from a vehicle.

--

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported at a Second Street business Tuesday at 1:57 p.m.

Jasmin Rose Laforge of Havre, 25, was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and driving without vehicle insurance and on a Justice or City court warrant during a vehicle stop on Seventh Avenue Tuesday at 2:19 p.m.

Donald Garret Bear of Havre, 37, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants and driving without a driver' license during a vehicle stop on Fifth Avenue Tuesday at 4:58 p.m.

A hit and run vehicle crash was reported on 10th Avenue Tuesday at 7:08 p.m.

Thomas James Jones of Havre, 20, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after a caller on First Street Northeast reported a domestic disturbance at 7:42 p.m. Tuesday.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Roger Michael Otto of Havre, 42, was arrested on a state District Court warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Tuesday at 1:31 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Tuesday.

Firefighters were called to a gas leak on the 200 Block of Third Avenue at 3:01 p.m. Tuesday. NorthWestern Energy was on the scene and had already fixed the problem.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held three 10-week-old kittens of unknown gender, five female cats and one male cat.

The shelter also held a female pit bull terrier dog, a female mixed-breed dog, a female pit bull terrier-English bulldog cross dog, a male German shepherd dog and a male mixed-breed dog.

A girl was born Friday, June 26, 2020, to Marcel Whitney Topsky and Nathan Oats of Havre.
