Obituary - Henry Allen Bebee

Henry Allen Bebee, age 88 years old, passed away June 26, 2020, at the Northern Montana Care Center with his loving wife, Helen, by his side.

Henry was born July 27, 1931 to Byron L. Bebee and Georgia Ashby Bebee in Malta, MT, and was raised on the family farm at Cree Crossing along with three brothers and four sisters.

In 1952, he joined the U.S. Army, serving in Korea.

In 1954, Henry moved to Havre, where he met his wife, Helen Hardwick, and they were married December 11, 1957.

He worked for Hill County 28 1/2 years as the manager of the Hill County Cemetery District.

He was an outdoorsman who loved to hike and backpack the mountains of Montana and had a love for all animals.

He was a member of the Hi-Line Amateur Radio Club, served on the Hill County Park Board and was a member of the VFW Post 497.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Byron and Georgia Bebee; son Byron “Les” Bebee; son-in-law Riley Roach; brothers, Frank (Loretta) Bebee, Kenneth Bebee and Gary Bebee; sisters Orpha (Glenn) Johnson, Lorene (Vernon) Krause and Dorothy (Ray) Nitz.

He is survived by his wife, Helen; daughter, Karen (Anthony) Lancaster of Scotts Hill, TN; son Randy (Cynthia) Bebee of Helena, MT; daughter-in-law Kathy Bebee of Havre; sister Lois Emanuelson of Chewela, WA; sister-in-law Evalee Bebee of Havre; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Henry will be held June 30, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at  the Fifth Avenue Christian Church in Havre, MT. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. June 30, 2020, at Highland Cemetery.
