Havre Police Department

A caller reported finding a gun on Boulevard Avenue Wednesday at 9:19 a.m.

A caller at a First Street West business reported Wednesday at 10:08 a.m. that a white Chevrolet had been damaged in a hit and run crash that had occurred sometime in the night.

Kobe Allen Scott Miller of Havre, 20, was arrested on charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and on a state District Court warrant during a vehicle stop on 12th Avenue Wednesday at 1:27 p.m.

An Amtrak conductor requested assistance Wednesday at 3 p.m. removing a woman from the train.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Sheriff's Office dispatch log listed no arrests or investigations for the 24-hour reporting period.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Wednesday.

At 7:12 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to a reported of a grass fire on the 1600 Block of U.S. Highway 2. The crew found a smoldering hot spot in a slash pile that was burned under authority of a burn permit Friday, and they put more water on the hot spot.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held three 10-week-old kittens of unknown gender, five female cats and one male cat.

The shelter also held a female pit bull dog, a female mixed-breed dog, a female pit bull terrier-English bulldog cross dog, a male German shepherd dog, a male mixed-breed dog and a female German shepherd dog.
