RaMona was born August 29, 1934, in Plentywood, MT, to Irwin and Emma (Hoveland) Negaard.
RaMona attended and graduated from Plentywood School. She married John Lee in Plentywood November 24, 1954.
RaMona and John traveled to many places. While living in various locations, their four children were born. They later moved to Havre, where they retired.
RaMona was not one to be idle. Along with raising her family, she worked at the Plentywood Courthouse, as a telephone operator, a receptionist at the Deaconess Hospital in Glasgow, the MDU Utility Company in Saco and served on the Saco School Board. When they moved to Havre, she worked for the Havre Public School system as a substitute in the kitchen and she also worked at the Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd in the kitchen.
She made time for painting, doing crafts, sewing, antiquing, working in her flower beds and traveling.
She was a member of the Rainbow Rebekah Lodge in Saco.
RaMona was preceded in death by her husband, John Lee; her parents, Irwin and Emma Negaard; a son, Keith Lee; a sister, Beverly Kaye Henning and a grandson, Travis Turner.
She is survived by daughter, Cheri Turner of Havre; sons Craig (Pamela) Lee of Glasgow and Mark (Becky) Lee of Havre; sisters Janice Masters of Williston, ND, and Sheila Faye Hilyard of Plentywood, MT; brother Irvin Joseph Negaard of Tucson, AZ; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
