Downtown business Boyce & Berry Flowers has a new owner and a new name.
Hannah Smith, who moved to Havre from Kalispell, bought the business from Kimmi Boyce and is now the owner of Flowers by Hannah as of June 1.
"I've done floral design for six years and it's just always been a dream to have my own shop and it just worked out with Kimmi to do that," she said.
She said she is looking forward to expanding floral design, the gift shop, home decor and keeping some things about the same, making the shop a fun place for people to come in.
Her main passion is the flowers, she said.
"My personal style, I guess, which is what you see. It's somewhat rustic, but a little bit modern in some things," Smith said. "So as far as like the gift shop goes, that's the look I'm going for, but with design work just wanting to make - I like statement things, quality design work."
Former owner Kimmi Boyce started Boyce & Berry Flowers in 2016, with just a cooler in her living room along with a design studio in her house to start her customer base.
She had used Facebook and her own website not only to have people know who she was, but also as a way to cater her flowers to events and weddings.
A year and a half later she moved to her Fifth Avenue location in the former Yummy Yogurt location, then almost a year ago she moved to Third Street next to Cavalier's for Men and Women.
The new hours at Flowers by Hannah are Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and closed Sunday and Monday.
