Morrison presented Northern Montana Health Care Award

Northern Montana Health Care presented the C.A.R.E. Award to Jessica Morrison, a member of the patient access team at NMHC last week.

Morrisona was nominated by one of her co-workers. Her nominator complimented Morrison on her professionalism.

"Jessica is literally the first and last person that patients see when entering the Northern Montana Specialty Medical Center. She's kind and direct." said the nominator.

"Jessica is a tremendous asset to our organization," said Patti Nault, director of patient access. "She is a valued team member, assisting nursing staff with physically challenged patients, and knowing all of her co-workers. She helps to solve issues and is always willing to learn a new skill or task to better herself and ultimately, our organization."

Morrison is the granddaughter of Dave and Nancy Pegar of Havre. Dave Pegar is a long-time NMHC employee and encouraged Jessica to join the staff. As part of the presentation of the C.A.R.E. Award, Jessica was presented with a special logoed jacket.

The "C.A.R.E." Award was started as part of NMHC's Customer Service Group, "The High Five Club." C.A.R.E. stands for Compassionately Achieving Remarkable Excellence. The purpose of this bi-monthly recognition award is to acknowledge employees who have served at NMHC in an exceptional manner by exemplifying outstanding service through his or her work, and consistently exhibiting a positive and supportive attitude. Employees at NMHC nominate their fellow employees for this award.

Customer service is important to Northern Montana Health Care. "Being the healthcare provider of choice" is part of its mission statement. Taking the time to recognize excellence in its employees is one of the ways it tries to achieve this goal.
