Havre Police Department

Someone stopped at the police station Monday at 10:05 a.m. to speak with an officer about an identity theft.

Someone stopped Monday at 2:55 p.m. at the police station to report that a house had been egged.

A Lila Drive caller reported at 2:56 p.m. that a wallet had been lost or stolen.

--

A 16-year-old was arrested on charges of careless driving, driving under the influence, under age tobacco possession or consumption, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia after two callers reported at 7:48 p.m. Monday that a possible drunken driver on First Street West almost got into a couple wrecks, was swerving, crossing the middle line and not paying attention at intersections.

Deirdra Hobbs of Browning, 30, was arrested on a charge of criminal mischief vandalism after someone on Ninth Avenue called 911 and the dispatcher reported hearing yelling and glass breaking at 12:50 a.m. Tuesday.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Samantha Joseph Davey of Box Elder, 26, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after being transported from Blaine County Sheriff's Office to Hill County Detention Center at 2:20 a.m. today.

A 6:59 a.m. request today to assist Blaine County Sheriff's Office on U.S. Highway 2 East was referred to another law enforcement agency.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Monday and one early this morning where two patients were treated.

Firefighters were called to the 800 Block of Fourth Street at 6:21 p.m., but the call was due to an accidental smoke alarm activation.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held four 8-week-old and three 11-week-old kittens all of unknown gender; six female and four male cats; one male 9-week-old kitten; and one male and two female 11-week-old kittens.

The shelter also held a male 18-week-old Australian shepherd puppy, a female mixed-breed dog, a female pit bull terrier-English bulldog cross dog, two male mixed-breed dogs and a female German shepherd dog.

Births

A boy was born Monday, June 15, 2020, to Jessica and Derek Hann of Havre.
