Havre Police Department

Gene Victor Belcourt of Box Elder, 50, was arrested on charges of speeding and driving with a suspended driver's license during a vehicle stop on First Street West at 6:33 p.m. Friday related to a caller on Second Street Northeast reporting at 6:21 a.m. that a man had gotten into the residence and was trying to take the TV.

Arthur Ryan Windyboy of Box Elder, 42, was arrested on a charge of assault, and Kurt Allan Eagleman of Havre, 40, was issued a summons on an assault charge, after a disturbance was reported at a First Street establishment Saturday at 12:43 a.m.

A 14-year-old was issued a summons on a juvenile curfew violation charge after a caller on Second Street reported the curfew violation Saturday at 3:15 a.m.

Tabitha Gopher of Box Elder, 21, was arrested on charges of motor vehicle theft and driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, after 3:24 a.m. transport from Blaine County related to a 12:13 a.m. Saturday 911 call from Second Street that officer's pursued after the caller hung up.

Frank Merle Skinner III of Harlem, 36, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant during a Sixth Street vehicle stop Saturday at 3:39 p.m.

John Eric Stiffarm of Havre, 36, was arrested on charges of assault with a weapon, tampering with or fabricating physical evidence and partner or family member assault and on a Justice or City court warrant after officers responded to a report of suspicious activity Sunday at 12:41 a.m. on 10th Street West.

Angel Leigh Belcourt of Box Elder, 42, was arrested on charges of failure to stop for traffic control signal and driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and on a Justice or City court warrant during a vehicle stop on First Street Sunday at 1:57 p.m.

Spencer Owen Lagree or Havre, 46, was arrested on charges of assault and probation violation after two Third Avenue callers reported two men fighting down the street Sunday at 9:10 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Danessa Moreno of Box Elder, 48, was arrested on a shoplifting charge after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business caller reported a theft Friday at 3:02 p.m.

Arthur Ryan Windyboy Sr. of Box Elder, 42, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia found during intake to Hill County Detention Center Saturday at 1:18 a.m.

Angel Gilead of Havre, 18, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, driving with expired registration and minor in possession after a caller on U.S. Highway 2 West reported a possible drunk driver at 5:48 p.m. Saturday.

Kyle Magnus of Greer, South Carolina, 27, was issued a summons on a trespass to property charge after someone reported the trespass to a BNSF Railway box car on the west end of the railyard at 9:08 a.m. Sunday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Friday, eight calls Saturday and five calls Sunday.

Firefighters responded to a request Saturday at 2:35 p.m. to rescue a cat in a tree on the 1600 Block of Second Street.

Firefighters responded to a fire extinguisher alarm at 12:40 a.m. Sunday on the 1200 Block of 10th Street West. They replaced the extinguisher and cleared the scene.

Firefighters responded to a fire call Sunday at 10:21 p.m., on the 1900 Block of Second Street Northeast, but found no signs of smoke or fire.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held four 8-week-old and three 11-week-old kittens all of unknown gender; six female and four male cats; one male 9-week-old kittens; and one male and two female 11-week-old kittens.

The shelter also held a male 18-week-old Australian shepherd puppy, a female mixed-breed dog, a female pit bull terrier-English bulldog cross dog, a female mixed-breed 11-week-old puppy, two male mixed-breed dogs, a female German shepherd dog and a male, 13-week-old Chihuahua puppy.
