Havre Police Department

Someone stopped at the police station Monday at 12:02 p.m. to report a theft from a business.

Heather Ann Durbin of Havre, 30, was arrested on charges of shoplifting and "attempt" after a caller at a First Street West business reported at 3:09 p.m. Monday that a woman had put items in her purse.

After being waved over on Second Street Monday at 3:31 p.m., an officer investigated a report of a broken window and stolen items.

Officers investigated a 6:21 p.m. Monday report of a remote breath-tester violation.

A caller on Montana State University-Northern campus reported at 1:12 a.m. today that a screen door had been cut open and dirt and worms were laying on the floor.

Two 14-year-olds, a 13-year-old and a 12-year-old were each issued a summons on a charge of juvenile curfew violations after a 7th Avenue caller reported children at Pepin Park making loud noises at 2:34 a.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies investigated after a 911 caller on 77th Avenue West dialed 911 at 3:52 a.m. today and hung up.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Monday and one early this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two cats, five 7-week-old kittens, two 11-week-old kittens and one 9-week-old kitten all of unknown gender; six female and three male cats; and two female and three male 9-week-old kittens.

The shelter also held a male 16-week-old Australian shepherd puppy, two female 9-month-old mixed-breed puppies, a female Labrador retriever dog, a male mixed-breed dog, a female German shepherd dog and a male mixed-breed dog.
