Crash kills one in eastern Blaine County

An early morning crash led to a death Sunday in eastern Blaine County.

The Blaine County coroner said Tyler James Cochran, 23, died in the crash, which was reported at 1:22 a.m. Sunday at Mile Marker 8 on Montana Secondary Highway 396.

The Montana Highway Patrol reports the 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix Cochran was in was headed westbound on Montana Secondary Highway 396 when the driver lost control.

The car rolled twice into the south ditch before returning to the road.

No one in the vehicle was wearing a seat belt.
