Voters urged to take 'My Voter Page Challenge'

HELENA — Montana’s 56 county election administrators are asking voting-age residents to take the online “My Voter Page Challenge” at http://VotingInMontana.com, created by the Secretary of State’s Office.

The challenge helps voters confirm their registration status and ensure their information is current with their local election office.

The My Voter Page service at https://app.mt.gov/voterinfo, hosted by the office of the Montana Secretary of State, provides voter information from each county election office and is now available for the 2020 Primary via http://VotingInMontana.com .

“Montanans have long used My Voter Page to confirm their registration and ballot status,” said Bret Rutherford, Yellowstone County Election Administrator. “The service is even more vital now due to a federal election being conducted by mail to comply with social distancing measures.”

Active voters in all Montana counties will receive their 2020 primary ballots by mail, rather than voting through the polling place process. If someone has moved, added or dropped a P.O. Box, or not voted in several major elections — their voting status could be affected. If a voter’s status has been inactivated or their address has changed, they should contact their county election office to ensure they receive a ballot. Taking the My Voter Page challenge to verify voter information can make all the difference!
