Havre Police Department

An arrest was made on a warrant served at 4:05 p.m. Wednesday in Havre. No details on the charges were provided.

Joshua Glen Reid of Havre, 41, was arrested on charges of criminal mischief vandalism, possession of dangerous drugs, probation violation and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and on a state District Court warrant, after a caller asked at 11:29 p.m. Wednesday to speak with an officer about harassment.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies investigated a theft, forgery or fraud reported at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hill County Detention Center.

Vandalism was reported Wednesday at 8:12 p.m. by a caller on Main Street South in Rudyard.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to five calls Wednesday.

Firefighters responded at 3:23 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a gas odor on the 600 Block of Sixth Street. Neither the fire crew nor NorthWestern Energy could detect an odor.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held a male 10-month-old kitten, nine female cats and four male cats.

The shelter also held a 22-week-old female mixed-breed puppy, a male mixed-breed dog, a male Labrador retriever, two female 8-month-old mixed-breed puppies, a female 6-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a female mixed-breed dog. Three female 7-week-old mixed-breed puppies and a male 6-week-old mixed-breed puppy were also being housed at the shelter.
