Havre Police Department

A minor vehicle crash was reported on First Street West at 3:28 p.m. Friday.

Someone on Second Street asked Friday at 4:34 p.m. to speak with an officer.

A summons was issued to a 15-year-old on a juvenile curfew violation, after caller on Second Street Northeast asked Saturday at 7:08 p.m. to speak with an officer.

Emily Hannum of Havre, 19, was issued a summons on charges of minor in possession, social host violation and endangering the welfare of children; Kyley Christine Verploegen of Havre, 20, was issued a summons on charges of MIP and endangering the welfare of children; Jordan Michelle Keith of Havre, 20, was issued a summons on a charge of endangering the welfare of children, and two 16-year-olds were each issued a summons on an MIP charge, after a caller on Sixth Street complained about noise at 10:12 p.m. Saturday.

Tessa Shayne Bigknife of Box Elder, 18, was arrested on charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and MIP, and Megan Mercedes Chandler of Havre, 19, was issued a summons on an MIP charge, after Rocky Boy Police Department asked Sunday at 3:58 a.m. for assistance finding a woman.

A caller at 6:02 p.m. Sunday reported a vehicle had crashed into a power pole at Fifth Avenue and Sixth Street.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Friday at 6:20 p.m., a caller on Sixth Street North asked to speak with an officer about someone throwing a rock into a car window.

Someone on Sixth Street North reported Saturday at 8:09 p.m. that a neighbor was being threatening.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Friday, two calls Saturday and one call Sunday.

Firefighters responded Saturday at 4:09 a.m. to a report of an electrical short at a power pole in the backyard of a dwelling on the 1000 Block of 22nd Avenue West. NorthWestern Energy was also called and the scene was turned over to the NWE crew when they arrived.

Firefighters, along with an ambulance, responded to a Sunday 6:05 p.m. report of a power line down on the 600 Block of Fifth Avenue after a vehicle had crashed into the pole. The scene was turned over to NorthWestern Energy to fix the power line.

A dumpster fire was reported on the 1400 Block of Sixth Street at 10:38 p.m. Sunday. The fire had spread to a nearby tree, but was extinguished. The garbage bin was a total loss.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two cats of unknown gender, a male 10-month-old kitten, eight female cats and three male cats.

The shelter also held a 21-week-old female mixed-breed puppy, a 10-month-old male mixed-breed puppy, a male mixed-breed dog, a male Labrador retriever, two female 8-month-old mixed-breed puppies, a female 6-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a female mixed-breed dog.
