Nine MSU-N cagers earn Frontier Academic honors

For the 2019-2020 Frontier Conference basketball season, the Montana State University-Northern Lights and Skylights had a combined nine players named Frontier Academic All-Conference.

The Northern women's team saw Allix Goldhahn (So., health promotion), Peyton Kehr (Jr., elementary education), Morgan Mason (So., physical education) and Petra Sellin (Sr., business) earn Academic All-Conference honors.

The Lights named Academic All-Conference were, Devin Bray (Sr., business admin/accounting), Eddie Harmon (So., diesel technology), Adam Huse (Sr., business admin/accounting), Mascio McCadney (Jr., health and physical education) and T.J. Reynolds (So., elementary education).

To be eligible for the team, the student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in standing, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and be enrolled at school the previous two semesters.

Lights finish strong on the mat

The MSU-Northern wrestling team finished No. 12 in the final NAIA Wrestling Coaches poll for the 2019-2020 season. The Lights rose five spots after the national tournament, which saw Northern place in the Top 15 with just four wrestlers, and junior Nick Kunz won the 125-pound national championship, while Isaac Bartel finished second at 197 pounds.
