Havre Police Department

Corey Ray Earl Sterner of Great Falls, 42, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, after a caller on Seventh Avenue reported Tuesday at 8:34 a.m. that a man came onto her porch and tried to steal a gas can before taking off in a white car.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Nicolette Lailoni Windyboy of Box Elder, 40, was arrested on a charge of trespass to property, after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a trespasser Tuesday at 11:14 a.m.

Deputies investigated a vehicle crash on Laredo Road Tuesday at 2:09 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to six calls Tuesday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held a male 9-month-old kitten, eight female cats and two male cats.

The shelter also held a 21-week-old female mixed-breed puppy, a 10-month-old male mixed-breed puppy, a male mixed-breed dog, a male Labrador retriever, two female 8-month-old mixed-breed puppies, a female 6-month-old mixed-breed puppy, and a female mixed-breed dog, three female two-week-old mixed breed puppies and one male 5-week-old mixed breed puppy.
