Havre Police Department

Officers investigated at 10:59 a.m. Monday report of a remote breath-test violation.

A caller at a First Street West business reported a man in a camouflage coat, jeans and a black backpack took a 30-pack of beer and headed east in the alley Monday at 5:53 p.m.

Dannael Justus Gilead of Havre, 24, and a 16-year-old were each issued a summons on an assault charge, after two First Street callers reported at 6:09 p.m. Monday that a woman was being attacked by two people.

Two callers at a First Street business reported a beer theft Monday at 6:43 p.m.

--

A Fourth Avenue caller asked Monday at 7:55 p.m. to speak with an officer about a theft, forgery or fraud.

Monday at 8:32 p.m., a sex offense was reported in Havre.

Rakeema Gerrell Daniels of Havre, 35, was arrested on charges of assault with a weapon and partner or family member assault, after a disturbance was reported on Fourth Street at 11:36 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A caller on Third Street West asked Monday at 10:07 a.m. for assistance.

Someone with Child and Family Services reported a sex offense Monday at 11:42 a.m.

An arrest was made after a 4:40 p.m. Monday report from 86th Avenue West of a man and woman yelling and pushing each other around. No details on the charges were provided.

An arrest was made during a vehicle stop at U.S. Highway 2 and First Street West at 4:51 p.m. Monday. No details on the charges were provided.

John Melvin Birdtail of Box Elder, 27, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller on U.S. Highway 2 East made a complaint at 1:40 a.m. today.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Monday.

The fire crew responded to a 9:33 a.m. Monday report of a carbonmonoxide issue on the 200 Block of Third Avenue. A small amount of the gas was detected and the scene was turned over to NorthWestern Energy

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held a male 9-month-old kitten, eight female cats and two male cats.

The shelter also held a 21-week-old female mixed-breed puppy, a 10-month-old male mixed-breed puppy, a male mixed-breed dog, a male Labrador retriever, two female 8-month-old mixed-breed puppies, a female 6-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a female mixed-breed dog.
