Havre Police Department

Joshua David Rainingbird of Havre, 38, was arrested on charges of violation of a no contact order and violations of conditions of release, after an officer stopped Friday at 2:21 p.m. to investigate and argument between a couple on First Street Northeast.

Albert Lee Goldsmith of Harlem, 51, was arrested on a theft charge, after a caller at a First Street West business reported a beer theft Friday at 3:23 p.m. and an officer investigated suspicious activity on Second Street at 3:33 p.m.

Anita Jo Eaglman Onco of Box Elder, 44, was arrested on a charge of trespass to property, after a caller on Ninth Avenue complained Friday at 8:26 p.m. that a woman would not leave a residence.

Sunday at 2:06 a.m., officers were called to assist Havre Fire Department and Hill County Sheriff's Office on Beaver Creek Boulevard.

Officers were asked at the police station Sunday at 6:24 a.m. to investigate a remote breath-tester violation.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Lanni Arnell Foursouls of Box Elder, 25, was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported suspicious activity Friday at 4:32 p.m.

Joshua Glen Reid of Chinook, 41, was arrested on a probation violation charge during a transport Friday at 5:14 p.m. from the Box Elder checkpoint into Rocky Boy's Indian Reservation to Hill County Detention Center.

An arrest was made after a U.S. Highway 2 West business caller made a complaint Sunday at 12:11 p.m. No details on charges were provided.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Friday and six calls Saturday. The calls for Sunday's reporting period had not been sent by printing deadline.

The fire crew was responded to a call on Beaver Creek Highway Saturday at 5:35 p.m. but the fire was a controlled burn which had not been reported to the fire department previously.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held a male 9-month-old kitten, eight female cats and two male cats.

The shelter also held a 10-month-old male mixed-breed puppy, a male mixed-breed dog, a male Labrador retriever, two female 8-month-old mixed-breed puppies, a female 6-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a female mixed-breed dog.
