Havre Police Department

Animal Control issued a written or verbal warning after a Second Street Northeast caller reported Thursday at 12:44 p.m. that a black dog running loose had attacked a child.

A First Street Northeast caller reported finding drugs Thursday at 10:21 p.m.

--

Christian Stevens Azure of Havre, 18, was arrested on charges of assault with bodily fluid and minor in possession and on eight Justice or City court warrants.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Chase Albert Thomas Marzano of Tacoma, Washington, 23, was arrested on a state district court warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Thursday at 12:44 p.m.

Wilbert Joseph Parisian III of Rocky Boy, 25, and Shelby Queen Eagleman of Box Elder, 25, were each issued a summons on a shoplifting charge, after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported shoplifters.

Donte Terrell Simpkins of Havre, 28, was issued a summons on charges of dog registration and vaccination violation and vicious dog in county, after a caller on U.S. Highway 2 East reported a dog had bitten someone.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Thursday and on call early this morning.

Firefighters responded to two gas odor calls Thursday, one at 8:11 a.m. on the 700 Block of Sixth Street and the other at 8:59 a.m. on the 700 Block of First Street, and both odors turned out to be sewer gas related.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter Monday morning held a female 11-month-old kitten, a male 9-month-old kitten, six female cats and one male cat.

The shelter also held a 10-month-old male mixed-breed puppy, a male mixed-breed dog, a male Labrador retriever dog, a female 26-week-old mixed-breed puppy and a female mixed-breed dog.
