People can have shipped online, can donate to health care workers with purchase
Press release
Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming has suspended delivery of Girl Scout Cookies in order to ensure the health and welfare of its members, their families and communities, the organization said in a press release.
“In addition, booth sales will be delayed, but rest assured, once resumed we will have updated booth sites on the cookie locator” at https://cookielocator.littlebrownie.com, the release said.
“We appreciate the public’s understanding when it comes to getting pre-ordered Girl Scout cookies,” it added, saying people who want to receive Girl Scout cookies during this time can connect with a Girl Scout to purchase cookies and can go to https://digitalcookie.girlscouts.org/scout/girlscoutsofmt_wy466140 to have cookies shipped online.
Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming said its members wish to acknowledge the sacrifice and dedication of health care workers who are working hard to keep people healthy. As a result, any cookies purchased online for a donation from March 24 through the end of the cookie sale will be donated to health care workers across Montana and Wyoming.
“On behalf of the Girl Scout movement, we want to thank the public for being part of our collective action to prevent the spread of coronavirus and for the continued support of Girl Scouts and the Girl Scout cookie program,” the release said.
