Havre Police Department

Officers investigating a Tuesday 9:20 a.m. report of a wild turkey near town square, found the turkey to be non-aggressive and allowed it to make its own way out of town.

Erica Ann Dion of Havre, 37, was issued a summons on an assault charge after a Fifth Avenue caller reported a woman was trying to get into his house.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Justin Wade Brown of Havre, 58, was arrested on a state District Court warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Tuesday at 12:12 p.m.

Deputies investigated a complaint on Clear Creek Road that was called in Tuesday 4:19 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one ambulance call during the 24-hour reporting period.

Firefighters responded to two fire calls. At one call a resident burning a tree stump was warned not to have fires in city limits. At the other call a fire alarm at a Havre apartment complex was set off by burnt food, and the alarm was reset.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter Monday morning held a female 11-month-old kitten, a male 9-month-old kitten, seven female cats, one male cat and one cat of unknown gender.

It also held a 10-month-old male mixed-breed puppy, two male mixed-breed dogs, a male Labrador retriever, a male Chihuahua, a female 26-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 8-month-old mixed breed puppy, a female mixed breed dog and a male boxer.
