Havre Police Department

A Fifth Street caller reported a dog bite Monday at 12:36 p.m.

Christopher Paul Hammond of Havre, 21, was issued a summons on charges of habitual traffic offender, driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and forgery, after a caller at a Third Avenue business reported Monday at 2:19 p.m. that someone was trying to pass a fake $20 bill.

A summons was issued after a caller at a First Street West business reported Monday at 6:13 p.m. that a woman had ordered food under someone else's name. No details on the charges were provided.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

The sheriff's office dispatch log reported no arrests or investigations during the reporting period.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call early this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter Monday morning held a female 11-month-old kitten, a male 9-month-old kitten, seven female cats, one male cat and one cat of unknown gender.

It also held a 10-month-old mixed-breed puppy, two male mixed-breed dogs, a male Labrador retreiver, two female 7-month-old mixed-breed puppies, a male Chihuahua, a female 2-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 8-month-old mixed breed puppy and a male boxer.
