Press release
Triangle Communications CEO and General Manager Craig Gates said Friday in a letter to the members of the cooperative that its office will be closed to the public starting this week.
In light of the recent global pandemic declared by the World Health Organization; Triangle Communications is transitioning to social distancing of its employees.
Starting Tuesday, the cooperative’s doors will be closed to the public for the foreseeable future.
Once the pandemic is under control here in Montana as defined by the State of Montana and CDC, Triangle will open its doors again to the public without a scheduled appointment, Gates letter said. Triangle has begun to reduce employee density in the workplace by instituting telecommuting where possible and creating more space between workstations for those that will still be reporting to our facilities.
“As an essential services company, it is our top priority to continue supporting our members,” Gates said.
He gave a list of how the change will impact members of the cooperative:
“1. When you contact our customer service or technology support teams, you will continue to receive the same friendly and expert level of support you expect.
“2. When you contact any of our employees who are working remotely, we will continue to respond as if we were in the office.
“3. Be prepared to answer questions about your health and the health of those in your home. Please be considerate of the employee asking the questions, as they are doing so at my direction. They are doing so for your protection and for the protection of our employees.
“4. In person assistance to our members from office staff (Havre & Big Timber) is available by appointment only. Please call 1-800-332-1201 between 8am - 5pm to schedule an appointment.
“5. Our technicians that visit your home to install or repair service have been provided with best practices, personal protective equipment and disinfectant to keep both you and them safe.
“6. If you need to pay your bill in person, Independence Bank in Havre and Citizens Bank in Big Timber are accepting Cash & Check payments. Be sure to have your account number or payment stub with you as it will be required to make a payment at the bank.
“7. You can still mail your payment in as long as the post office is open. In Havre, our drop box will be accessible to all members as well.
“8. You can also use our website https://www.itstriangle.com/pay-my-bill , to make a payment with a credit card, checking/savings account or call us to set up automatic payments.”
The letter said people who have questions about their account or technical support about their service can call 1-800-332-1201 or email [email protected] or email the technical support staff at [email protected]
“We appreciate your understanding and support as we navigate this quickly changing situation and please stay safe and healthy,” Gates concluded.
