Maria Rose Oppelt of Havre, 39, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served Friday at 7:19 p.m. at Hill County Detention Center.

Havre Fire Department
Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Friday, three calls Saturday, two calls Sunday and two calls early this morning.

Firefighters responded to an 8:20 p.m. Sunday report of a chimney fire. Assistant Chief Nathan Courtnage said the fire was contained to the chimney and doused by dropping a fire retardant down the chimney. This is the second chimney-related fire within a week. Courtnage recommended that people get their chimney cleaned once a year.
Havre Animal Shelter
The Havre shelter this morning held six female cats, two male cats, a female 10-month-old kitten and a male 8-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held this morning a male mix breed 9-month-old puppy, a female Chihuahua dog, a male mix-breed dog, a male Chihuahua dog, a male mix-breed dog, a female mix-breed 23-week-old puppy, a female mix-breed 7-month-old puppy and a female mix-breed 11-week-old puppy.
