Havre Police Department

Nathan Pruett of Harlem, 34, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge, after he reported Friday at 11:46 a.m. that a First Street Northeast business refused to give back a vehicle and insurance checks.

Clinton YoungBear Jr. of Harlem, 58, was arrested on charges of reckless driving, driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, driving under the influence and (open container in the city,) after a caller on U.S. Highway 2 West reported a possible intoxicate driver Friday at 12:53 p.m.

Acoya Nathan Gopher of Box Elder, 22, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant, after a caller at a First Street West establishment reported Friday at 9:24 p.m. that a man and a woman were being disruptive and refused to leave.

A caller reported Saturday at 9:39 a.m. that a business on U.S. Highway 2 East had been spray painted and egged.

--

Sherman Dean Alexander Sr. of Box Elder, 57, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge, after a caller on First Street reported an intoxicated male in an alley way Saturday at 12:09 p.m.

Filberta May Skidmore of Havre, 42, was issued a summons on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge, after a caller at a First Street business reported finding a purse with a needle in it.

Terri Jean Doney of Havre, 24, and Glen Scott Doney of Havre, 29, were each issued a summons on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child, after a caller on First Street Northeast asked for assistance for a child locked in an apartment.

A Sixth Avenue caller reported a vehicle crash at 10:36 p.m.

A Ninth Street West caller reported Sunday at 7:18 a.m. that a cinder block had been thrown through a basement window. The caller was unsure if anything had been taken.

Ty J. Bauer of Havre, 26, was arrested on a criminal contempt charge Sunday at 7:52 p.m. related to a 24/7 sobriety Program violation.

Evelyn Frances Foursouls of Havre, 36, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served at 10th Avenue and Third Street at 12:04 p.m. Sunday.

--

Sandy Bob Strauser of Havre, 41, was issued a summons on a partner or family member assault charge after a caller at a First Street business reported Sunday at 2:17 p.m. that a man and a woman were fighting.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Maria Rose Oppelt of Havre, 39, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served Friday at 7:19 p.m. at Hill County Detention Center.

Lester Tyrel Skramstad of Havre, 29, was arrested on a charge of violation of conditions of release Friday at 8:08 p.m. in Hill County.

Rochelle Marie Hopkins of Box Elder, 49, was arrested on a state District Court warrant at the detention center Friday at 9:45 p.m.

Deputies asked Saturday at 12:57 a.m. Saturday to assist officers of Rocky Boy Police Department at a U.S. Highway 87 business.

Sandy Bob Strauser of Havre, 41, was arrested on a partner or family member assault charge Sunday at 2:54 p.m.

--

A caller on State Highway 234 reported a disabled vehicle at 10:36 p.m. Sunday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Friday, three calls Saturday, two calls Sunday and two calls early this morning.

Firefighters responded to an 8:20 p.m. Sunday report of a chimney fire. Assistant Chief Nathan Courtnage said the fire was contained to the chimney and doused by dropping a fire retardant down the chimney. This is the second chimney-related fire within a week. Courtnage recommended that people get their chimney cleaned once a year.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held six female cats, two male cats, a female 10-month-old kitten and a male 8-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held this morning a male mix breed 9-month-old puppy, a female Chihuahua dog, a male mix-breed dog, a male Chihuahua dog, a male mix-breed dog, a female mix-breed 23-week-old puppy, a female mix-breed 7-month-old puppy and a female mix-breed 11-week-old puppy.
