Clint Darlington, Big Sandy Basketball
The Big Sandy Pioneers played four games at last week's District 9C boys tournament in Havre. And Clint Darlington had double-doubles in three of them. Included in Darlington's big week was a magical Friday when he scored 25 points and 19 rebounds in an OT win over Box Elder, then hours later he added 14 points and 21 rebounds in a win over CJI in the consolation game. Darlington is also an All-State football standout.
Tatum Hull, CJI Basketball
The Chester-Joplin-Inverness Hawks had a strong showing at last week's District 9C girls tournament in Havre. And sophomore Tatum Hull surely was strong. Hull scored 77 points, had three double-doubles and a tournament-high 30-point outing as the Hawks made it to Saturday morning's loser-out session. Hull, who was also a standout in volleyball, also scored 17 points against Turner and 18 against Chinook.
