Havre Police Department

Nelson Travis Alexander of Box Elder, 54, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and probation violation after a caller reported a man passed out on a bench in front of a First Street business at 4:23 p.m. Friday.

Claudine Chiefstick of Lodge Pole, 56, was arrested on charges of theft and disorderly conduct after a caller at a First Street establishment reported Friday at 5:02 p.m. that a very intoxicated woman refusing to pay her bill.

A caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported Friday at 11:37 p.m. that a man just walked into the business and said that he was jumped by two men with a baseball bat.

Cassandra Miskeeleigh Stidham of Havre, 33, was arrested on a state District Court warrant and a pick up and hold order and a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant when the warrants were served Saturday at 12:09 a.m. on First Street West.

Joey A. Quitugua of Boise, Idaho, 19, and Dadee Matila of Havre, 19, were each arrested on a charge of minor in possession after a caller at a Montana State University-Northern residence hall reported underage drinking Saturday at 1:28 a.m.

Jacquline Colleen Chiefstick of Box Elder, 40, was arrested on charges of trespass to property and disorderly conduct, after a caller at a First Street West establishment reported Saturday at 1:41 a.m. that a very intoxicated woman who had been kicked out was hiding nearby.

A Second Street caller reported Saturday at 2:50 a.m. that someone threw a bottle through their front window.

Christopher Alan Anderson of Havre, 37, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence after an officer at a First Street establishment investigated a man who was slumped over a steering wheel Saturday at 3:07 a.m.

An arrest was made after a caller on 10th Avenue reported a domestic disturbance at 5:06 a.m. Saturday. No details on the charges were provided.

A 13-year-old was arrested on charges of partner of family member assault and assault after a caller on 11th Street West reported Saturday at 7:35 p.m. that a juvenile was being belligerent and violent.

Colten Glenn Barker of Fort Bridger, Wyoming, 20, was arrested on charges of assault and MIP, after a 13th Street West caller reported Sunday at 4:10 a.m. needing an intoxicated and violent man removed.

Samuel Roastingstick of Box Elder, 50, and Leonard Wayne Brockie of Great Falls, 43, were each arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after an officer initiated investigation of suspicious activity with a group of people on Third Avenue at 10:07 a.m. Sunday. Roastingstick was later charged with shoplifting after a caller at a First Street West business reported at 10:41 a.m. that someone had stolen beer.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Tim Warren Rosette of Box Elder, 56, was arrested on charges of trespass to property and violation of a protective order, after a caller on Main Street East in Box Elder reported Friday at 12:10 p.m. that a man was trying to take a vehicle.

A purse was reported stolen at 8:50 a.m. Saturday at a U.S. Highway 2 West business.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Friday, four calls Saturday and three calls Sunday.

Firefighters responded to two calls Sunday. The first was a smoke scare at 11:17 a.m. on U.S. Highway 2 East and, because no smoke was found, the crew determined the caller had mistaken the rising dense fog for smoke. The second call was a malfunctioning alarm on the 10 Block of Third Street West at 11:49 p.m. The building manager would be contacting the alarm company to have the alarm reset.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held one cat of unknown gender, two female 9-month-old kittens, four male cats, three female cats, one female 19-week-old kitten and one male 7-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held this morning a male American bulldog, a male American Eskimo dog, a female mix-breed 7-month-old puppy, a female mix-breed 5-week-old puppy, a female mix-breed 6-month-old puppy, one male mix-breed 10-month-old puppy, one female Labrador retriever dog and one male mix-breed 8-month-old puppy.
