Letter to the Editor - Thanks for supporting Toys for Tots

Dear Editor,

I’m writing with heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to our generous community for their support of Toys for Tots second annual event. 

Toys for Tots was able to partner with The Salvation Army this year to identify families in need. We were able to provide toys for 73 children; nearly double what we did the year prior. In addition, we anticipate further growth in the coming year. 

Special thanks goes out to Pacific Steel and Recycling, Independence Bank, Triple Dog Brewing, Bergren Transmission and Helmbrecht Photography. These local community-minded businesses assisted with the program in various ways; providing toys, being drop-off locations and hosting fundraisers. This demonstration of support, from both businesses and individuals, ensures longevity of the Toys for Tots program in Havre. 

We had a great turn out this year and look forward to giving back in the years ahead.
