Havre Police Department

A caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business asked Monday at 11:24 a.m. for a well-being check on a customer.

Lance Udell Stump of Havre, 32, was issued a summons on charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, after a caller at a First Street business reported suspicious activity at 10:38 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Friday at 10:42 a.m., a vehicle theft was reported on U.S. Highway 2 West.

Kyle Frank Russette of Box Elder, 25, was arrested on a federal warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Friday at 12:50 p.m.

Dustin Mohar of Harlem, 26, was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a theft.

Deputies investigated suspicious activity reported on 86th Avenue West Friday at 4:08 p.m.

--

A two-vehicle crash between an SUV and a pickup truck was reported at 6:30 p.m. Friday on Fifth Street North.

--

A caller at a U.S. Highway 2 East residential area reported Saturday at 5:31 p.m. the sewer system was backing up into multiple homes.

--

Saturday at 9:24 p.m. on Seventh Avenue North a wallet was reported stolen.

--

An arrest was made while deputies were assisting another agency in Box Elder at 2:09 a.m. Sunday, but no details on the charges was provided,

--

A Sunday 3:47 p.m. caller requested a well-being check on Seventh Avenue North.

Samantha Emery Lewis of Havre, 23, was arrested on a shoplifting charge, a state District Court warrant and three Justice or City court warrants, after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West caller reported a theft Sunday at 4:38 p.m.

Curtis Cole Molina of Havre, 23, was arrested on two federal warrants served Sunday at 8:25 p.m. at the detention center.

--

Leann Ahenakew Gardipee of Havre, 43, was arrested on two state District Court warrants served Sunday at 8:29 p.m. at the detention center.

--

Jeremy Owen Walker of Hays, 33, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and a charge of partner or family member assault, after deputies were called to assist another agency on Third Street at 11:07 p.m. Monday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Monday.

--

Firefighters were called at 4:05 a.m. Saturday to the 800 Block of 123rd Street East for a lint vent fire. The fire was extinguished before they arrived, but a water pipe was burst and they helped turn that off.

A gas odor was reported at 6:12 p.m. on the 1900 Block of Highway 2 West. The fire crew could not detect a leak and NorthWestern Energy that responded to the scene confirmed this.

Firefighters responded to a 3:54 a.m. alarm today from the 100 Block of 34th Avenue West, but it turned out to be a broken sprinkler, and the crew turned off the main valve to stop the leak before leaving.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held three cats of unknown gender, two female 9-month-old kittens, two male cats, three female cats, one female 18-week-old kitten and one male 7-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held this morning a male American bulldog, a male American Eskimo dog, two female mix-breed 6-month-old puppies, one male mix-breed 10-month-old puppy, one female Labrador retriever dog and one male mix-breed 8-month-old puppy.
