Hill County Early Childhood Investment Team and Hill County Health Consortium Active Living Task Force are sponsoring a “Winter Fun Day,” Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m., at Montana State University-Northern Student Union Building.
The event is free for all ages and no R.S.V.P is needed.
“This group wanted to offer a free opportunity for people of all ages to gather together, play some games, and enjoy some activities,” Hill County Early Childhood Investment Team Family Engagement and Coalition Coordinator Tina Thomas said in a text this morning.
“We will have indoor games and activities, like cornhole and yoga, music, with snacks, including popcorn and other healthy finger foods along with cocoa and coffee,” she said in an email to ECIT members.
The email said, if the weather cooperates, a snowman contest will also take place along with some outdoor games and activities.
“We want to give the whole community the opportunity to get together and be active,” the email said.
Thomas said the Studio of Dance and Arts is also going to be playing music and offering the opportunity for people of all ages to join them in dancing.
“ECIT’s vision is to have healthy children in healthy families through collaborative community partnerships,” she said. “This event seemed to promote that vision for our whole community.”
