Havre Police Department

A Washington Avenue caller, Wednesday at 8:28 a.m., requested assistance.

A caller with a service agency at 9:06 a.m. Wednesday requested a well-being check on someone on Fifth Street.

Wednesday at 12:51 p.m., a vehicle was reported possibly stolen from a Washington Avenue caller.

Someone stopped at the police station Wednesday at 4:51 p.m. to speak to an officer about a crime that had been committed.

Steven Castillo of Havre, 30, was arrested on a partner or family member assault charge, after dispatchers followed up on a 5:45 p.m. Wednesday 911 call in which the Second Street caller initially hung up.

Someone stopped at the police station to make a complaint Wednesday at 6:03 p.m.

A two-vehicle crash in which a Ford Explorer hit a parked trailer was reported Wednesday at 8:36 p.m. on 12th Street.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies, called at 12:25 a.m. today to assist Blaine County Sheriff's Office, made two arrests. No details on the charges were provided.

A caller on Fourth Street West in Inverness made a complaint at 8:39 p.m. Wednesday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Wednesday, and firefighters investigated a 10:02 p.m. report of a gas odor on the 600 Block of Ninth Avenue, but found no evidence of a gas leak.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held two 17-week-old kittens and four cats of unknown gender, four female cats, two female 9-month-old kittens, one female 17-week-old kitten, one male cat and one male 6-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held this morning a male American bulldog, a male American Eskimo dog, a female mix-breed dog, a female mix-breed 6-month-old puppy, two male mix-breed 7-month-old puppies, a female mix-breed 26-week-old puppy, a male mix-breed 10-month-old puppy and a female Labrador retriever dog.

Births

A girl was born Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2020, to Nikita Denny and Jacob Russette of Box Elder.
