Sadie Filius, Havre Girls Basketball

The Havre High girls are rolling once again and, in a pair of running-clock wins this past weekend, so, too, was sophomore Sadie Filius. The 2019 Class A All-State selection scored 14 points in Friday night’s win over Lewistown in Havre, then added 15 points as the Ponies crushed Sidney Saturday afternoon. Filius, who is also a standout track and field athlete for the Ponies, earned All-State and All-Conference honors as a freshman.

Jake Huston, Havre Boys Basketball

It was a monster weekend for the Havre High boys basketball team. And Blue Pony senior Jake Huston had a monster Friday night. Huston poured in a game-high 26 points in Havre’s dominant win over arch rival Lewistown Friday night, then he added eight points to help the Blue Ponies crush Sidney Saturday. Huston, a two-year starter for HHS, is also an All-Conference doubles player for the Pony tennis team.
