Havre Police Department

Dusty Lee Manuel of Harlem, 33, was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and driving under the influence after a caller at a First Street West business reported a fight in progress at 1:17 p.m. Friday. Another arrest was made or summons issued, but no information on charges was provided.

Jasper Leon Lewis Jr. of Dodson, 23, was issued a summons on a charge of violation of a protective order after a caller a Havre caller reported Friday at 6:20 p.m. a protection order violation involving a child, and Saturday at 11:49 a.m. stopped at the police station to talk to officers about a custody issue.

A Seventh Street caller asked Friday at 11:28 p.m. for assistance with an intoxicated woman.

Jacob John Byl of Havre, 33, was arrested on an aggravated DUI charge after a 12th Avenue caller reported suspicious activity Friday at 11:36 p.m., possibly related to a previous call, and a caller at 13th Street and Fifth Avenue reported Saturday at 1:27 a.m. that a pickup truck with snowmobiles in back was sitting in the turning lane and the driver appeared to be passed out.

Saturday at 9:10 p.m. a caller on 12th Avenue reported he had loaned out a 2011 Dodge Ram and it hadn't been returned.

Officers assisted Havre Fire Department at a fire on 11th Street West Sunday at 12:56 a.m.

A Fourth Street caller reported Sunday at 11:07 a.m. that a decorative flag had been stolen.

Desarae Rose Matte of Havre, 29, was issued a summons on a charge of violation of protective order after a Second Street caller asked to speak with an officer Sunday at 11:42 a.m.

A 14th Street caller asked to speak with an officer Sunday at 3 p.m. about a recovered stolen vehicle.

--

Desarae Rose Matte of Havre, 29, was issued a summons on a charge of violation of protective order after a caller reported Sunday at 6:52 p.m. that a woman who was not supposed to be there was at a Second Street residence.

A 10th Street West caller reported at 7:05 p.m. Sunday that muck boots and a boot warmer were stolen.

Willard James Weasel of Fort Belknap, 38, was arrested on a partner or family member assault charge after a caller on First Street Northeast reported a man and woman fighting at 12:27 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Hill County Sheriff's deputies investigated report made from North Havre Friday at 9:58 a.m. of theft, forgery or fraud .

Sage Cree Bear of Rocky Boy, 29, was served a state district warrant charge at the Hill County Detention Center reported Friday at 3 p.m.

Denise Marie Webb of Dodson, 37, was served a Justice or City court at the Hill County Detention Center Friday at 9 p.m.

Elaine Small of Havre, 86, was arrested on a Justice or City court at Hill County Detention Center Saturday at 4:32 p.m.

--

Deputies investigated a report made from a 34th Avenue Northeast Thirty Fourth Avenue Northeast location Saturday at 9:28 p.m. of two men attacking another man.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Friday, two Saturday and one Sunday. 

Firefighters responded to a call at 7:32 p.m. smoke detecter activation malfunction Saturday on the 500 Block of Ninth Street West.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held two 17-week-old kittens and three cats of unknown gender, five female cats, two female 9-month-old kittens, one female 17-week-old kitten, one male cat and one male 6-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held this morning a male American bulldog, a male American Eskimo dog, a female mix-breed dog, a female mix-breed 6-month-old puppy, a male mix-breed 7-month-old puppy, a male mix-breed 10-month-old puppy, one female Labrador retriever dog and one male mix-breed 7-month-old puppy.

Births

A boy was born Thursday, Jan. 9, 2020, to Rachel and Trent Nystrom of Havre.
