Havre Lions Club Secretary Doug Larson presents last Friday Trina Crawford of Salvation Army a check for $1,500, matching the funds Lions raised Dec. 7 while ringing bells for the annual Red Kettle Campaign. The money raised in the Red Kettle Campaign will go toward the Havre Salvation Army's emergency services center to help provide emergency services to people in the community who are in need. Some of the services the Salvation Army provides is assistance for fire and disaster victims, eviction prevention, emergency lodging, emergency transportation and school supplies.
