Jennifer Fatima Denny of Havre, 53, was arrested on a criminal contempt charge related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation reported at 7:03 a.m. Tuesday at the police station.

Amanda Barnes of Havre, 40, was issued a summons on charges of failing to notify owner or damage to property and careless driving, failing to drive prudently, after a caller on Sixth Street reported a vehicle hit a fire hydrant Tuesday at 7:59 a.m.

Officers removed a needle that was reported found Tuesday at 9:03 a.m. behind a Third Street building.

William Joseph Williams Jr. of Havre, 34, was issued a summons on a charge of theft from building after a caller at a Third Street business reported a theft of a bottle of lotion Tuesday at 11:31 a.m. and a 3:36 a.m. Wednesday caller reported man was trying to open the doors of a First Street West establishment.

Two juveniles who were reported knocking over garbage cans in an alley Tuesday at 3:36 p.m. were given a warning.

Moses Eugene Lawrence of Harlem, 35, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller on First Street Northeast reported a man passed out in the hallway Tuesday at 5:40 p.m.

Gladys Jean Flatlip of Box Elder, 49, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, after a caller on First Street reported two women fighting at 12:54 p.m. Wednesday.

Aubrey Celine Briere of Havre, 32, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant, after an officer initiated investigation of suspicious activity involving a woman on 15th Avenue at 2:37 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Katie Lynn Strivers of Great Falls, 30, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Tuesday at 3:55 p.m.

Lance Jay Young of Box Elder, 26, was issued a summons on a charge of resisting arrest and Clay James Badhawk of Box Elder, 22, was issued a summons on charges of operating a vehicle without valid registration and driving without a valid driver's license, during a vehicle stop on U.S. Highway 87 at 9:24 p.m. Tuesday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Tuesday, four calls Wednesday and two calls Thursday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held five 15-week-old kittens and three cats of unknown gender, five female cats, one male cat and one male 6-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held this morning a male American bulldog, a male American Eskimo dog, a female Jack Russell terrier 26-week-old puppy, a female mix-breed dog, a female mix-breed 6-month-old puppy, a male Australian cattle dog-blue heeler mix dog, a female pit bull terrier-Labrador retriever mix dog, a female Labrador retriever dog, a male mix-breed 7-month-old puppy, a male 11-month-old pit bull terrier and a Labrador retriever of unlisted gender.

Births

A girl was born Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019, to Courtney and Kyle Finneman of Havre.
