Danielle Elizabeth Piapot of Havre, 18, was arrested on charges of unauthorized use of vehicle, minor in possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence, open container in a vehicle and endangering the welfare of children; Jordell Scott King of Harlem, 21, was arrested on charges of endangering the welfare of children and possession of drug paraphernalia; and a 17-year-old male was issued a summons on charges of open container in city, driving without a driver's license, MIP, DUI, unauthorized use of a vehicle, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and possession of drug paraphernalia, after a Washington Ave caller asked at 8:34 a.m. Friday to speak with an officer and a caller at Second Street and 16th Avenue reported suspicious activity at 9:22 a.m.

A 14-year-old was issued a summons on charges of MIP and underage tobacco possession, and a 15-year-old and a 14-year-old were each issued a summons on an MIP charge, after a 10th Street caller asked Friday at 9:35 p.m. for assistance with a granddaughter.

Saturday at 12:21 p.m. officers investigated an injury vehicle crash on Sixth Street where a vehicle had struck a tree and a parked car and an injured person had to be extracted from the vehicle by fire engine and ambulance crews, treated and transported to the hospital.

A caller at a First Street business reported at 1:57 a.m. today that an 18 pack of Twisted Tea was stolen.

A caller reported Friday at 2:38 p.m. that a vehicle went through a fence on Fourth Street North.

Veronica Lynn Huntley of Havre, 25, was arrested on a partner or family member assault charge, after a domestic disturbance was reported Saturday at 6:47 p.m. on Ninth Street East.

An arrest was made after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business made a complaint Sunday at 4:16 p.m., but no details on the charges were provided.
Havre Fire Department
Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Friday, two calls Saturday and nine calls Sunday.

Firefighters responded Friday at 7:57 p.m. to an alarm on the 10 Block of Third Street West where a pull station had been activated, but no fire was detected so the alarm was reset.

Firefighters were called Friday at 8:30 p.m. to the 600 Block of Second Street were a gas line had been ruptured during building maintenance. NorthWestern Energy crews also responded and repaired the line.

An 8:55 p.m. Friday call to the 200 Block of Eighth Avenue for a carbon monoxide alarm required only that batteries be replaced in the alarm.

Firefighters responded Saturday at 12:23 p.m. along with an ambulance crew to the 600 Block of Sixth Avenue where a vehicle had struck a tree and a parked car and the driver had to be extracted, treated and transported to the hospital.

The Havre shelter this morning held three cats of unknown gender, five female cats and one male kitten.

The shelter also held this morning a male American bulldog, a male American Eskimo dog, a female mix-breed dog, a female mix-breed 26-week-old puppy, a male Australian cattle dog-blue heeler mix dog, a female pit bull terrier-Labrador retriever mix dog, a male Labrador retriever dog, a male mix-breed 7-month-old puppy, a male 11-month-old pit bull terrier and a Labrador retriever of unlisted gender.
