Connor Harris, Havre High Wrestling
The 2019-2020 season didn't start off as planned for Havre High senior Connor Harris. But at last weekend's CMR Holiday Classic, he made up for lost time. After an early-season injury, Harris won the 145-pound title in Great Falls last Saturday, beating Bozeman's Adam Rodrigues, 3-2 in the championship match. Harris, who improved to 6-0 on the season, and is a three-time Class A All-State grappler, helped Havre finish ninth overall.
Kobi Burchard, Havre High Swimming
Havre High junior Kobi Burchard is planning on having a big season in the pool, and she's off to a strong start. Havre opened its season with its own Havre Invite, but Burchard shined at last Friday's Great Falls Pre-Relay Meet, where she posted Top-Six finishes in both the 100-yard butterfly, and the 100-yard breaststroke. Burchard, who is a three-year standout swimmer for the Blue Ponies, is also a key cog in several Havre relay teams again this season.
